2025-09-04 Capilano Camping

Maple Hill School undertook hosting its first overnight camp! The school took the Grade 9 students and some of our older students to serve as leaders and mentors. The school stayed at Camp Capilano located on the North Shore in North Vancouver. Students were able to experience the beauty of the temperate rainforests and see the Capilano Watershed where a lot of our drinking water comes from. Students were also able to help with meal prep and cleanup and get to eat home cooked meals. They even got to make cookies together. We hope to be doing more of these overnight camps in the future.
