This summer, students in our EFP 11 and EFP 12 classes were able to spend a day at UBC. Students were able to visit two important places to learn about Canada’s First Peoples. In the morning, students were able to visit the Indian Residential School History and Dialogue Centre where they learned about the horrors indigenous people suffered at residential schools. In the afternoon, students visited the Museum of Anthropology to learn more about the history of indigenous peoples in BC. Thanks to Mr. McKaig for planning all the logistics.
