HIGHLIGHTS OF THE MONTH

CLASSROOM SPOTLIGHT

Mr. Fan’s Class

We have been having an amazing vibe of learning in the classroom so far this semester. More and more students start to participate in our in-class discussions, and the entire class benefits from it. Students also develop their communication skills every day as they help each other with course materials and problem-solving extensively, both in and after class. Most students have been able to stay healthy in this cold winter, which is a reflection of how responsible they are for their personal well-being. I’m looking forward to seeing more growth in the students’ various abilities.

STUDENT OF THE MONTH

Vettel Bi

Vettel Bi is the student of the month for February. He has consistently done a fantastic job in his classes and is also working on getting our new science club up and running.  Great job Vettel!

MAPLE HILL SCHOOL DOLLAR WINNER

Leo Xu

Students are doing awesome earning more money than ever before. For the first time ever, Maple Hill School will be having a raffle for physical prizes. Students will be able to purchase raffle tickets with their Maple Hill Dollars closer to the end of the year. For February, Leo Xu was the student with the most money earned. Great work Leo!

CLUB HIGHLIGHT

Badminton and Soccer Club

The Badminton club has begun to morph into the Badminton and Soccer Club where badminton and soccer will be played on alternating weeks. Last week was the first time the club met to play soccer at the Total Soccer in-door facilities right here in Richmond. We will be meeting again next week so please reach out to the principal or Phoenix Wu if you are interested.
